Use simple shapes to represent subjects such as animals, people, landscapes, etc. Learn about primary and secondary colours, and tints and shades. Use clay to translate drawing subjects into 3-D objects. Use colour mixing lessons to create mono prints. Continue simple shape lessons to create paper collages.

Learn basic drawing skills such as line, value, and texture while drawing a variety of subjects such as animals, people, landscapes, etc. Translate drawings into watercolour, or acrylic paintings. Learn about mixing secondary and tertiary colours, tints and shades as well as colours of nature, and the colour wheel and colour schemes. Create 3-D images of drawing subjects with clay.

Just Draw!

Learn to recognize edges, spaces, relationships, light and shadow to create realistic, three-dimensional looking images of objects, animals, people, landscape, etc. Daily practice is necessary to see improvement - I suggest the purchase of a sketchbook, pencils (B, 2B, 4B) and kneaded eraser for use at home.
